Each month, we head somewhere different – knocking on to say hi and checking in on how you’re doing.
We bring staff from a range of teams like Repairs, Neighbourhoods, Estates and Customer Voice and Communications.
In 2026-27, we’ll be visiting a different location every month. Keep up to date and find out when we’re coming to your area over on our website.
Here’s where we’ve been:
- Wickfield Mews, Poynton
- Turner Street, Harrop Road and Lowther Street, Bollington
- Throwsters Court, Macclesfield
- Sparrow Close, Nantwich
- Crabtree Court, Disley
- Bank Street, Jodrell Street and Turnock Street, Macclesfield
- Roewood Lane, Hurdsfield, Macclesfield
- Huntersgate, Handforth
- Parkhouse Lane and Netherfold Bungalows, Prestbury
- Juniper Close, Holmes Chapel
Key events:
We understand that space is important for community events and support services - that’s why we offer several community groups premises at peppercorn rent. This just means that it costs a lot less than market rental. These include:
• Weston Community Hub • The Green in the Corner • ROAR (Reach out and Recover) • Chelford Hub • Cre8 – Mayfield Centre
EasterApril 2025
This Easter, we've delivered over 1700 eggs to community groups and to some of our older customers (just over 230!). We were able to support:
• The Mayfield Centre • Hope Central • Artspace • The Green in the Corner Cafe • One Project • The Gilchrist Community Hub • Ash Grove Primary School • The Welcome • Cr8 • The Core • Cheshire Without Abuse • East Cheshire Hospice • St John The Evangelist CE Primary School • Methodist Housing (MHA) • Nurses Day Events and Stay Well at Work – Macclesfield Hospital
We would have loved to deliver a treat to all our customers across our 5,000 homes; however, it takes weeks of planning just to make sure we can get to 230 customers!
Christmas2025
In December 2025, staff from across the Trust headed out into our communities to spread some festive spirit and drop off gifts.
Staff packed goodies for some of our customers – chocolate, children’s books, and a couple other seasonal treats. We really hope this brought a smile to our customers’ faces.
We would have loved to do this for all 5,000 of our customer’s homes – but we prioritised visits to customers whom our staff identified as needing some extra support and cheer.
All donations came from our generous suppliers and contractors.
Better together
Throughout 2025-6 we leant on our partners - and supported them too - here are just a few:
• Age UK • Cheshire Constabulary • Cheshire East Council • Cheshire Fire and Rescue • Cre8 • CVS Cheshire East • Green in the corner • Housing and Wellbeing service • LEAP energy support • MaccPride • My CWA • Silklife Foodbank • Talking Therapies • The CORE • The Department for Work and Pensions • The United Utilities Trust Fund • The Welcome – Knutsford • Weston Community Hub • Groundforce • Citizens Advice Bureau • Debt Information Bureau • Step Change • The Wensleslas project (Knutsford) • Knutsford Together • DIB (Disability Information Bureau) • Job Centre Plus • Grocery Aid • New leaf (job support help) • DSN Deaf support • JCP • Transcend • The Storehouse Foodbank (Congleton)
A reminder of our purpose:
Working together to provide safe homes and thriving communities.
Social Value 2025/26

Meet the buyer
In October 2025, we hosted a ‘Meet the Buyer’ day at the Trust – inviting local suppliers in to explore potential collaboration and opportunities.
Social Value delivered in house:
- During 2025/26, we clocked 351 hours of Social Value!
- This included work experience for six students between May 2025 and February 2026.

The Trust at Crucial Crew
Crucial Crew is a unique program designed to engage students in real-life scenarios to teach them essential life skills.
Through a series of educational workshops and role-playing activities, Year 6 pupils were provided with important messages on safety, health, and social responsibility, all while working alongside various partner agencies such as the Police.
That’s why Lucy and Lyn from our Community Support and Resolution Team delivered an engaging and fun-filled activity for the students.
It was all about…
- Examples of what is and what isn’t classed as anti-social behaviour.
- How engaging in anti-social behaviour can affect your future.
- How to be a good neighbour and stop situations from escalating.
- Respecting other people’s wishes and opinions.
- The importance of compassion and kindness and seeing things from the other persons perspective.
